Hmmm weird photo but I love how she squats without actually sitting. Here she was concentrating on what to pull out of "her" drawer in the kitchen.

February 25th ~ Tutus & Baby Bling

Bailey & I got some awesome gifts from Regan & the girls! On Bailey: Tutu, crystal embellished Princess shirt, crystal embellished boots, bracelet, "B" rhinestone clip

Some days I have barely any photos - a last minute one squeezed in so I can say I took one - and then other days I just can't seem to stop!

February 24th ~ Girl's Day

Actually had a girl's day today with my mom, Rachel & her mom Grace. Ate at the yummy Blue Tangerine & shopped around at Bridgeport after & ended with coffee (of course!). Photo is from when we visited Danielle at JCrew ... Silly me didn't get a photo of Rachel but she did take the one with me in it :-)

We've decided the next date will be IKEA....

Also ran into a lady whose daughter was wearing the stinkin cutest outfit ever. I was brave enough to ask her where it was from (I'm soo shy so this is brave for me! Lol...it was Ooh La La by the way) I did NOT feel brave enough to ask her where I might know her from as she looked sooo familiar ... I've learned people always act weird when you tell them they look familiar..I don't know why. I really felt like I knew her though. So getting home I was thinking about it and she was either my Freshman English teacher Megan Hurt or her twin :-) Not sure why I decided to share that! :-)

February 23rd ~ Lame

So LAME. So many fun things we did today and so many people we love that we saw and did I remember to bring my camera?? NO - ARGH!

We saw Elle & Charley today!! It's been way too long - maybe 5 months? They are so tall and grownup- ahh I missed them soo much! I can't believe I forgot my camera..I'll just have to make sure to get together with them real soon and I'll bring it then! :-)

After that we went to a surprise birthday dinner for Kat at my favorite Salem restaurant - Best Little Roadhouse (not to be confused with the Roadhouse Grill). Got to see her & the kiddos but also Brittanie, Ramsey & Carsyn. Again - no photos :-P Kat has a photo of the two girlies so I'll post that when I get it.

February 22nd ~ More Baby Brezlin

February 19th ~ Welcome Brezlin!

This afternoon Rya gave birth to the beautiful Brezlin Lea Brossard! I got the call at 5 am that they were at the hospital so I headed over there & arrived at about 7am. 6 hours later she was ready & after just 45 min of pushing later, Rya & JD became parents.

She was born on February 19th at 1:29pm. She weighed in at 8 lbs 11 3/4 oz and is 20 inches long. She has bright, alert eyes, full lips, slender fingernails and parents that are very much in love with her!!! I have never been able to visit one of my friends' births until much later so to be there with one of my most loved friends that immediately after birth was so wonderful. Such a very emotional time. I feel truly blessed to have been there with her family during this amazing event. I'm already in love with this little girl and beyond happy for Rya & JD who are going to be such loving and attentive parents! I don't think I've ever seen a dad so comfortable in his role that quickly before :-) I love you Rya, JD & Brezlin and look forward to seeing you grow together as a family and as our friends!

February 17th ~ Bananas as Entertainment

Sometimes it sucks being the only one with a child....Bailey woke up at 6 this morning which is about 1.5 hour earlier than normal - I blame it on a different house/crib/rooming with us :-P Everybody upstairs slept in til 11 (It's been so long since I did that!!) so we were stuck downstairs without room for B to roam around & no toys. Thank goodness we had a banana! And don't you love the bedhead?? :-)

February 16th ~ Trip to Sisters

Traveled to Sisters this weekend for some fun in the snow! This is Rainey, Ryan, Jared, Rachel, Bailey & Greg. Also there was Josh, Roxanne, Danny, Becca & me :-)

February 14th ~ Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day!

Absolutely no plans other than:
1. Waiting by my phone for Rya to tell me she's headed to the hospital - she's been having contractions but no baby yet
2. Cleaning house
3. Trying to get my PhotoShop to work again
4. Hopefully listing some of Bailey's clothes on ebay - such a long process though :-P
5. Working out tonight with Greg.
6. Should probably start packing for our trip to Sisters this weekend..I'm not entirely sure we're going, I don't want to miss the birth of Baby Brezlin!

February 13th ~ Bye Bye Daddy!

Today Bailey told Daddy "Bye Bye Daddy" Awww!!!! Does this count as a sentence???


Hmm well I took tons of photos today - they're just all of B's old clothes for ebay..does this count?? :-)

Getting rid of her baby clothes makes me soo sad! :-( but gotta have room (and money!) for new ones! I am keeping the ones I'm really sentimental about.

February 12th ~

Bailey could care less about TV which is great because I really don't want her sitting around watching TV all day. But seriously 30 min would be fine with me. So I'm actually putting my daughter in front of the TV....never saw THAT coming! Please Bailey, just sit still for 30 min & give mama a break? 15 min? Ha. She snuggled in long enough for me to take a photo & then she was off! lol Wait a sec...is she picking her nose?? GREAT.

February 11th ~ Bailey is 13 months old!

I put Bailey in one of MY baby dresses today. She looks so sweet & girly - I love it! She's also reading one of my childhood books :-)
Happy 13 months!

My business cards came in the mail today! We tried something new & got Moo cards which are smaller than a regular business card & the new trend. Love them! Sorry for the bad photo, wrong lens for this :-P

Later in the day..Bailey enjoying a snack & sippy cup on the couch. Kinda reminds me of her dad here, just needs some sports on TV ;-)

February 10th ~ quilt = love.

My mom made this quilt a few years back & I claimed it as my baby quilt "if I ever have a girl"/ Well I now have it in my home and I'm so excited! Bailey seems to like it as well, she kept running her hands up and down it and giggling, LOL
She just learned the sign "Love" today. Sometimes she'll even point to Greg or I after. This is her half attempt :-)

February 9th ~ Sick Baby

Well I have no photo today - Only a little over 1 month in & I've already missed one! Bailey was sick today, throwing up a lot and just wanting to snuggle...and well I have my priorities! :-)

February 8th ~ Meeting Emma

Staci & I have been talking on Myspace for about 6 months now, she's a relative of a friend & we went to the same high school but she graduated before I started. Anyways now that we finally live in the same town we've been meaning to get together to meet. 2 months in and we FINALLY set a date and then we ran into each other at the Y last night. Random :-)

So we met Staci & her daughter Emma at Myles Away Cafe today and had a great time! Apparently 2pm is the perfect time to be there - we pretty much had the place to ourselves! (Much better than the 10:30 time from Wednesday!) Emma & Bailey were sooo cute together and I had a great time chatting with Staci - I'm hoping for many more playdates in the future!

February 4th ~ Gramma Teri over

Gramma Teri came to visit Bailey today :-)

Thanks to the Hoppe family for this great toy. As Bailey's nosiest toy, it scared her the first time we put batteries in it. Greg suggested bringing it into her room & waking her up with it. LOL so mean but absolutely hilarious to think about! Anyways, now she absolutely adores it When it's not on, it holds any toy she can fit in it and when it is on it puts Bailey into fits of giggles!

Today we went to a birthday party for my friend's children. She made Bailey's beautiful birthday cake so I tried to return the favor & photographed the party.
