Bailey & I headed to my mom's this morning for a breakfast made by Bill, a very yummy omelette. We approved :-) Said goodbye to Bill & Dee as they headed home to AZ, visited Grandma's goats and headed to the company stores afterward to look for a July 4th outfit for Bailey. Bailey's learning the difference between blowing & smelling as you can see by those lips! :-)

June 29th ~ Well look at that...
I'm no food photographer but it was SO yummy I had to take a pic!

Well since my Aunt Dee & Uncle Bill were up from Arizona we decided to have a BBQ at our place the day before they headed home. We spent that morning grocery shopping, cleaning up the house, slicing veggies, making patties...and talking about how much we wished my Dad could be there with us....no really, it's just the onions, they're making my eyes water.... It just doesn't seem right having family events without him there with us... :-( It's been over 3 months now since he's been in the hospital and that's not even counting all the times in the ICU before that. Too long. I want my dad back, I want Bailey's papa back...he's missing out on everything :-(
Eventually my mom, Dee & Bill showed up. They asked me to help get things out of the car -which of course I thought was a bit strange since there are 3 of them and I thought they were just bringing ice cream but being the nice daughter, neice & hostess I am, I headed out to the car with them to help carry the heavy quart of vanilla. Imagine my surprise when I discovered it was not an overload of Dreyers they had stashed in the car but MY DAD! In the CAR, NOT at the rehab center. NOT in a hospital room, in the car, in MY DRIVEWAY, coming to MY HOUSE. I'm not someone who's good with words so I can't even begin to say how special that was to see him here, to have him in my home again but I'm sure you can imagine :-) And what a sneaky, sneaky mom I have, huh? She kept it a secret so she could see the look on me and Greg's faces when we saw Dad :-)

Dad & his sister :-)

Hmm they don't look related at all, do they? ;-)

June 28th ~ Zoo

A favorite of mine - the sea lions

She likes to walk holding our hand now, we love it!!

LOVE this!

A rare photo of me & B!

Her funny face!

Since she's tested negative for allergies, I've started giving her peanut butter sandwiches since they're so easy to take with us. She LOVES them - yay!
June 27th ~ Playdate at Brittanie's
Playdate at Brittanie's today!

Bubble machine, best thing ever!

Bailey pushed Ramsey into a corner to plant a smooch on him!

What cuties, huh??!

I love this bench & Brittanie's patch of long grass, what a simple adorable backdrop!
Later that night, playing basketball outside with Greg & Jared

June 25th ~ Strawberry Farm

Some moms mentioned that they were surprised she wasn't scared of the goats. Puh-leeze, these were tiny pygmy goats, Bailey has the real thing at Grandma's! Such amatuer farm girls! ;-)

Venturing in....

She actually did a really good job picking the berries & putting them in the box. She's say "tawbewe" then "bahks" :-)

I know strange outfit to wear as I usually like to match outfits as much as I can. Ideally she would've worn her strawberry dress but this was the only thing in her closet that I thought would hide all the berry stains she was sure to get! :-)

look at that mouth!! lol
